As an Employee Relations Consultant, 100% of my knowledge and expertise exudes from my career as a federal Human Resource Specialist of 20+ years. I am also a veteran of the United States Navy, where I honorably served for ten years, five months, and 17 days (I’ll never forget those numbers!). I hold a bachelor's degree from Saint Leo University, a well-known and military-friendly educational institution, in HR Management with a minor in Psychology.
I founded Alisha D. Brown Career Consulting, LLC DBA AD Brown Consults, utilizing the in-depth view of the transition an individual takes from employee to supervisor. I specialize in providing transparent advisories to HR professionals & first-time supervisors to help them align their decisions with applicable laws, rules & regulations.
As a HR professional & woman veteran, I know first-hand the challenges that exist during the decision making process.
