NAVY VETERAN

I am a self-taught Federal Resume Expert and Federal Career Consultant. I gained my knowledge and expertise from my own career as a federal Human Resource Specialist of 20 years.  I am a Veteran of the United States Navy where I honorably served for 10 years 5 months and 16 days (I’ll never forget those numbers!).  I am a graduate of Saint Leo University, a highly friendly military veteran institution, where I gained my bachelor’s degree in HR Management with a minor in Psychology.  

 

I founded Alisha D. Brown Career Consulting, LLC utilizing the in-depth view of the rating and ranking of applications and resumes during the federal government’s hiring process.  I found that there was a strong need to educate applicants on proper development of a federal resume, utilizing USAjobs.gov to its maximum availability and interpreting federal vacancy announcements.  I proudly serve those I am highly relatable to – transitioning military, veterans, current and prior federal employees.
